Case Study: NZTE Fruit Expo exhibits digitally through online showroom

New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) China branch has initiated an O2O marketing activity, running a virtual “New Zealand at Shanghai Fruit Expo 2021”, along with the Shanghai International Fruit Expo (offline) at Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Six New Zealand fruit growers – Bostock New Zealand Limited, Goldenbay Fruit New Zealand, Mr Apple New Zealand Limited, New Zealand Cherry Corp., Rockit Global Limited and Seeka Limited, were exhibiting this year’s both online and offline.

The virtual expo is accessible via PC, tablet and mobile devices, and is available in the “24/7 New Zealand Exhibition Centre”. This platform was launched at the end of 2020 and is a B2B “Cloud Showroom” digital solution including both English and Chinese language versions. This event is an excellent and smart digital initiative by NZTE to help kiwi fruit growers to continuously connect and gain exposure to the Chinese business marketplace online under the COVID situation.
